Meet the Team!

  • I joined the Thatchers Marketing Team in 2017 as a Marketing Assistant. Having finished University and completed a marketing internship - I knew Marketing was for me and Thatchers was a brand that I absolutely loved. I started getting experience in all aspects of Marketing but quickly knew that Brand Activation was the area I wanted to progress in. Since then, I've progressed my career to Head of Activation and now look after the activation team & strategy. I work with teams across the business to ensure that our brands are in the hands of consumers and work closely with our customers and sales teams to drive rate of sale. The best part about my role is that it's very people focused so you get opportunities to speak to consumers directly, get first hand feedback and collaborate on projects.

  • I joined Thatchers in 2017 and it's great being part of a joined-up supply chain. As Orchard Manager I am responsible for growing the apples which make our cider, 'from pip to pint' I grew up on a farm and agriculture has always been part of my life. I started to focus on growing apples in 2011. Establishing an orchard takes a long time however it's very rewarding when all that hard work bears fruit! We always say that good cider starts in the orchard, we take a great deal of pride in growing the best apples to make the best cider

  • I work within the IT Business Systems team at Thatchers, supporting and developing our core systems, data warehouse and reporting, while also exploring how AI and data can be used to help teams across the business make more informed, data-driven decisions. I joined Thatchers in July 2024 as an apprentice, making a career change from agricultural consultancy into Software Development. The apprenticeship gave me the opportunity to build my technical skills while gaining hands-on experience across different areas of the business. Since then, I’ve progressed by taking on increasing responsibility in key projects, particularly around data and analytics, building a strong understanding of how technology supports the wider business. Overall, my experience at Thatchers has been incredibly rewarding - giving me the opportunity to grow quickly, work closely with many teams across the business, and feel like I’ve made a real impact.

  • Working in the On Trade Accounts Team, I look after some of our biggest On Trade customers including Molson Coors & St Austell Brewery. I started my career at Thatchers in 2018 as a Territory Manager covering Dorset, Bournemouth and Salisbury. Whilst learning on the job, and have since achieved a Level 4 Sales Apprenticeship qualification, which helped me to progress to looking after Regional Wholesalers, Family brewers and now National Brewers. What I love about my job is understanding opportunities, growing relationships with our customers and working with them to achieve sustainable growth.

  • I joined Thatchers in 2010 as a production operative after completing my A-levels, initially on a temporary basis while considering university. From day one, I felt a strong connection to the business and knew it was somewhere I could build a long-term career. Over the past 16 years, I’ve developed my skills and become a specialist within the production environment. Now, as Production Manager, I’m responsible for ensuring our state-of-the-art machinery runs efficiently to consistently produce high-quality cider. A key part of my role also involves looking ahead—exploring new packaging ideas, driving innovation, and helping to future-proof our operations. For me, Thatchers represents everything a great family-run business should be. There’s a real focus on hard work, dedication, and taking ownership, alongside strong investment in people. It’s this combination that creates such a positive and rewarding place to work.

  • I work as a Warehouse Supervisor at Thatchers, where I’m responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing stock control, and coordinating across multiple warehouses to ensure everything runs efficiently. My journey within Thatchers began in 2019 as an apprentice within the Customer Service team, where I developed my communication skills and gained a strong understanding of how the business supports its customers. During my apprenticeship, I had the opportunity to move around different areas of the business, which gave me valuable insight into how each department operates and how they all connect, allowing me to take on greater responsibility. My experience at Thatchers has been rewarding with the opportunities to develop, and the strong sense of teamwork across the business. Starting as an apprentice and progressing into my current role makes me feel valued and motivated to continue growing.
