Who are Thatchers Cider?
Established in 1904 by William John Thatcher, we have grown into one of the top cider-making businesses in the world. Now in our fifth generation of family cider makers, we’re exceptionally proud of our Somerset roots.
We’ve experienced tremendous growth through industry-leading levels of investment in our marketing, people development, innovative technology and world-class cider mill. The best part? We’re just getting started.
About Us:
Set in the picturesque Somerset countryside, our 2 AA Rosette winning Railway Inn Cider House and Restaurant, is looking for an experienced Chef to join our growing kitchen team. With the recent investment into our new outdoor kitchen, it's set to be a fantastic, busy summer season ahead!
The team is proud to deliver high quality, freshly cooked food, sourcing locally wherever possible, and alongside our premium drinks range, setting the standard for premium dining in the local area. The Railway Inn offers everything from delicious fine-dining options, to mouth-watering dishes freshly cooked on our bespoke charcoal grills.
Our service and offering is attentive and well presented, just as we believe a pub at the heart of its community should be. The role is full time and will involve varying shift patterns so flexibility is a must.
